Modern European Restaurante - Rojales

Beautiful and well-preserved, this charming old finca is home to one of the Costa Blanca’s finest restaurants. Nestled in the countryside between Rojales and San Fulgencio, Restaurant Viloriens is well worth the drive down the windy and picturesque old Rojales – Guardamar road. The rustic interior is light and airy in summer, and in the cooler winter months offers a welcome warmth - you couldn’t wish to find a cosier place to enjoy some of the finest food on the Costa. The Restaurant incorporates several separate dining areas; the snug provincial dining rooms, the covered terrace, the beautiful courtyard all perfect for an intimate meal for two or special celebration.

The food is of the very highest quality and yet the prices are still in line with those you would expect of a village inn. Whether dining at lunchtime or in the evening, the à la carte menu provides ample choice and a creative slant on some classic modern European cuisine. There is a menu del dia available; 3 courses inc wine at 12.50€pp or a menu del noche; 3 courses inc wine or beer at 19.50€pp. Dishes change regularly and dependent on what is in season, locally available and appealing. For starters expect to tuck into something like spicy minced lamb boreks with rosemary infused couscous, you could follow this with lamb cutlets cooked with red current in puff pastry served with spiced lentils and a mint jus. The popular steak selection consists of prime sirloin, large cut rib-eye or the tournedos cut fillet steak. Round off your meal with a delightful choice of home made desserts.
